Emergent Literacy 2-day intensive workshop
We are so excited to announce that registration is now open for our April 16-17, 2026 Emergent Literacy workshop with presenters Dr. Karen Erickson, Dr. David Koppenhaver and Dr. Sofia Benson-Goldberg. This workshop will be held in Independence, OH at the Embassy Suites Cleveland-Rockside.
At the end of this workshop, participants will be able to describe:
Three or more distinctions between emergent and conventional literacy instruction.
Three or more critical conditions of successful emergent literacy and communication instruction.
Three or more ways to integrate symbolic communication intervention into emergent literacy instruction.
